We are Richard
and Fran and have come to live in France for the
very reasons you may be choosing it for your
holiday destination. We adore the area we have
chosen and will happily share all our knowledge
of it with you - and if we don't know, our
friends here will! After running a village pub
and Bed and Breakfast for sixteen years on the
North Devon coast where we raised our children
we have come here to take it a little easier but
bring with us all the knowledge we gained of
what makes a successful holiday and look forward
to sharing it with you.
If you are coming with
children we will take some of the stress out of
your holiday by offering a free babysitting
service, so you can go out and eat together in
the evenings using our chauffeur service (see our
prices page). Whether with children or
without, you are welcome to free access to the
grounds and garden at all times and some of our
add-on services may be of interest. |

On the premises
you will meet our two dogs (Prim the English
Pointer and Tag the Border Collie) and riding
horses (Moon and Pretzel). The horses are
gentle and appreciate a fuss and the dogs love
to go across the fields for a walk, but if you
have an allergy or are nervous or otherwise
unhappy about the presence of the dogs, please
be sure to say. It is no trouble at all to
ensure that they do not intrude on your stay
with us. We genuinely appreciate that not
everyone is happy in the presence of dogs,
particularly large ones. The horses are
exercised most evenings when it's cooler and any
competent rider (under 11 stone) is welcome to
join me at no charge. |
